Mercedes Do Not Buy – Issues – BCA Condition Report

I have just had the pleasure of BCA inspecting my Mercedes SLK 200 2005 model – purchased in 2009 now valued at 10k.

The report produced is completely ridiculous, with an estimate for repair @ £658, not including mileage allowance!!

£55 per wheel for scratches £258 for a dent that is not noticeable, £119 for a dent next to the inside door for where the seat belt apparently hit the door frame, £26 for a bonnet paint chips and £35 for another dent!!!

Absolutely ridiculous, this is a 7 year old motor and they expect it back in showroom condition.

My advice is never by a mercedes  on lease or higher purchase as they will sting you on the inspection !!
I will be challenging the quote, so will keep it posted!
